Construction Management - ACH Cliffords core business calls and provides for all forms of construction.

As builders we can provide firm pricing and accurate time frames for the completed project. We work closely with you, (our clients), and ensure that all projects are finalised on time and to budget.

Upon appointment, ACH Clifford likes to proceed in the following manner:

• Early orientation meeting with the Project Team to familiarise ourselves with the project, our clients and establish all lines of communication. Then maintaining regular client meetings as required. Risk assessment of Technical Issues, QA, OHS & R & Environment
• Program for Construction work & completion of Site Specific Plans . - Programming includes a procurement schedule programmed to meet construction program, accounting for lead times as necessary. Completion of Site Specific Management Plans for OHS, QA, Environment
• Adoption and implementation of all required Safety, Environmental and Quality Assurance Management Plans and checking methodology.
• Create Site Facilities.
• Trades Briefing Meetings.
• Supervision - Monthly project team meetings to discuss program, subcontractor performance etc. Program updated as necessary
  All personnel inducted & regular tool box meetings with all on site monthly stakeholder meetings inc ACH & client & other relevant stakeholders.
• All System checklists to be completed regularly as necessary, all hold points & witness points observed including provision of shop drawings.
• Close out of all Inspection & Testing Checklists . Identifying and creating a defects list for rectification prior to construction finalisation and handover to ensure defect free completion.
• Handover, including Handover manuals provided including instructions, warranties, training & as built drawings as required.

• Construction – This traditional type of contract leaves the client in full control of the design , ACH Clifford act as one of a group of professionals engaged by the client & take on the total construction management of the project.
• Design Development & Construction – In this type of contract ACH Clifford take a base design & requirements defined by the client & engage & coordinate all designers to complete the design. Construction is carried out based on the refined design documents & ACH Clifford carry the project through to final certifications for occupation.
• Design & Construction - The design and construction service requires that ACH Clifford take the professional lead over the full range of planning and building process, from start to completion. ACH Clifford would assume the responsibility of all matters relating to the building and construction activities. Naturally, we are also constantly mindful of all our client requirements.
• Cost Plus – When projects are required to commence with minimal lead time & where design has not been fully documented a Cost Plus contract may be the preferred option.

ACH Clifford Pty Ltd was awarded Third Party Certification to ISO 9001: 2000 in 2003 for our Quality Management Systems by SAI Global.

The implementation of our quality systems on each project include the preparation of Site Specific Quality Plans at the commencement of each project. This ensures that our performance on projects is of a consistently high standard and that quality outcomes are passed on to our clients.

Environmental Management
ACH Clifford's has had in place an Environmental Management System as part of our Quality System since early 2003. ACH Clifford's Environmental Management System applies to all aspects of the work environment, where it is determined that the construction process creates a threat to the environment.
ACH Clifford realises that the environment and control of environmental issues is one of the most critical responsibilities that we have today.
